Annie & Isabel's Feel Better Campaign 2011 Recipients

You'll be touched by the story behind each of our 2011 Feel Better Campaign recipients. We're touched that we could make a small difference and be connected to these amazing people.

2011 Recipients:

hamilfamily.jpgThis is the Hamil Family. They were unfortunate victims of the deadly tornadoes that ripped through and demolished their small town of Piedmont, Oklahoma on May 24th, 2011. Their two precious sons Ryan, age 3, and Cole, 15 months, sadly did not survive this tragedy.

Their daughter Kathleen, age 5, suffered severe injuries but has since made a full recovery.  The mother Catherine suffered a pelvic fracture while also being 5 months pregnant.

We were contacted by our loyal customer, Megan, who resides in Oklahoma, to see if we would be willing to donate a designer hospital gown for Catherine for her recovery and the upcoming delivery of her unborn child.

We were deeply touched by their story and we were happy to give Catherine two of our designer hospital gowns as part of our Feel Better Campaign with hopes that she could enjoy a bit of comfort during her birth and any hospital stays she may have to endure as a result of her injuries.

"I plan for the future, live for today and cherish every moment I have with those that I love, because you never know what tomorrow will bring."  ~Brianne

Brianne is a 20 year old college student that was diagnosed at birth with cystic fibrosis.

On a normal day, she spends 4 to 5 hours doing breathing treatments, chest percussion, and takes 15 pills. While all of this slows her down a bit, she always finds time to enjoy the college football season, do scrap booking, spend time with her friends, garden with her mom, and attend jazz concerts with her dad.

We received an email from Brianne complimenting us on our hospital gowns and expressing the frustration she feels every time she enters the hospital. She was hoping to save up for a gown for her next bout in the hospital and especially loved our Susan zebra print gown.

snapshot-20100920-5.jpgShe is a very petite woman and liked that our gowns came in 6 sizes, including extra-small.

Family is very important to Brianne and appreciated that all of our hospital gowns are named after influential women from our family.

We were so happy to make her a Feel Better Campaign recipient, so now she can tackle her unwanted hospital stays in style and with comfort!
